Opinion: America’s Struggle Sessions
A few weeks back I saw a post on twitter by James Woods that showed an alleged pamphlet being sent across the country to known Trump supporters. The pamphlet states that if you have received one, it is because you have been added to a database and are a future target for violence and harassment. You can look at the tweet here:
Whether the pamphlet is real, I have no idea, but a recent post by Forward Observer on Facebook made me much more likely to believe it could be.
Leftist Radicals Want A Forced Overthrow of American Politics
Recently I saw this post (screenshot below) on Facebook that claimed far-left radicals have plotted to engage in the harassment and protest of Republican politicians and candidates, whether they have won their office or not. Normally this might not be out of the ordinary, that is, until you see that they plan to do this at private residencies.
I think it especially interesting that Forward Observer has likened such a threat to the Maoist Struggle Sessions, because that’s precisely what it is like.
The Leftist radicals, like Antifa and other Marxists, have been getting away with stunts like these for the past eight months due to the 2020 election. What is worse, the Left-leaning media has ignored it for the most part.
Let’s look a bit closer at all this though.
American Struggle Sessions
What you basically need to know about the Maoist Struggle Sessions is in the Forward Observer post. Chinese communists, as a way of securing their political and culture grip on China, engaged in the harassment and abuse of anti-communists. They tortured and abused, forced confessionals, publicly humiliated, and threatened targeted dissenters of the Maoist cause.
This type of mob tyranny, intended to lead to a political and cultural overthrow, was popular in the USSR as well, and the American Marxists have begun to up the ante, just like their Soviet and Chinese heroes.
Why is this so massively important (besides the fact that half the media i.e. on the Left won’t talk about it — which I’ll get to)? Well, because it allows the radicals to do two things if they find their tactics end up working. Just as it did with the Chinese and Soviets, such mob tactics could do two things in the United States:
- Use fear and the threat of force to subvert future sentiments against the party, regime, or ideology.
- Use plausible deniability (by virtue of having defeated dissenters) to portray their way as ideological superior, thereby creating a one party state. By extension, I might add, you can see how this silencing and suppression erodes our ability to freely speak, think, and believe.
This is the exact thing the radical Left looks to do. And with the past harassment of Right-wingers at rallies and gatherings, the mass rioting and strong-arming of bystanders, and the cancelling of conservative minds, they are already well on the path to seeing their plan in action.
With all this being said, I have to admit that the political Right and its everyday supporters have been extremely vigilant against the Leftist mobs in the past eight months. So it is one thing to recognize factions using such sinister tactics and threats, and it is entirely another issue in how it is exposed.
This brings me to the media failure.
The Media’s Failure
Right-wing media has been great at getting videos and pictures of such acts as they happen and spreading it through the internet. This is especially true on Twitter. That being said, the Left is virtually silent on all things related to Leftist mob activities and Leftist radicalism.
Don’t think so? Then all I need to say is look to the jack Dorsey testimony to Congress on 10/28/2020, in which he states two obligatorily unethical practices of Twitter that is clearly manifested in other Leftist media. After the Biden laptop scandal developed, many conservative accounts were censored on Twitter. In the testimony about this, Dorsey admitted that Twitter has “no standard practice” for censorship and that Twitter, as a platform, doesn’t have the power to influence political elections — let alone the public’s political psyche I might wager.
If you think the Twitter debacle is too removed as evidence of this, then just search for the “mostly peaceful protests”, a catch-all phrasing of what Leftist radicals have been up to.
It is evident in Leftist media that a strong bias exists against conservatives, but especially against Trump (sometimes I even understand why). With the ignoring and under-reporting of Leftist radicalism though, we can observe a debacle with the telling of Truth. When this happens, we also run into another issue, an issue that coincides with out nation’s ability to develop politics into the future. That issue is the fabrication of our historical narrative.
The media has a perpetual choice; to either report objectively and factually, or to focus on agenda-based biases. The Left has been doing the latter and in turn, it has ignored the truth, and helped shape a false historical narrative for the United States. This will have negative political repercussions in the future, on both sides of the political aisle. (I want to add that yes, the Right also have major political biases but despite that, they appear more willing to expose all manner of malice, wrongdoing, and suspect behavior regardless of political sides).
Regarding our historical narrative, we need to ask ourselves, “Will 2020 be remembered simply for Trump and COVID, or will we remember it as a time of great turmoil in our political culture, given the great deal of riots, mobs, and threats against the disagreeable?” The U.S. has a large radicalism problem on the Left, so much so that foreign intelligence services have played up their ideology (as well as far right extremism) to encourage them to act with hostilities (looking at you, Russia).
The problem is that the Leftist radicals know their media arm will not report them, expose them, and condemn them — and they count on it. To have a radical, revolutionary shift of a political culture, a movement depends on such treatment.
No truth, no more principles. No principles, no foundation for a free society. The repercussions, any historically-literate mind can see, are vast.
Perpetuating Their Own Enemy
The Left have been changing and radicalizing their ideology for years and it is, in my view, due to a inferiority and confusion of values. The political Right own the “American” ideology of freedom, guns, liberty, and individualism, so the Left give no room for themselves to adopt anything short of globalist sentiments such as socialism, classism (shielded as the abolishment of it), race, sexuality, and emotions.
Sure, there are some noble aspects to it, but what we must realize is that such an ideology, weak in principle, is extremely prone to rapid change. Rapid change tends to leave room for shortsightedness, and that is precisely the problem with our political Left.
By ignoring the acts of the Leftist radicals, the Left are inadvertently opening for the door for tyranny on both ends of the spectrum. We can expect more populist rhetoric in the future, and more people who feel so attacked and threatened, that they push to their ideology’s furthest edges. This means more Antifa, more KKK, more Proud Boys, more Marxists, more neo-Nazis, the list goes on.
If the Left want to end “populism” like they say they do (which I believe they don’t, because it effortlessly lets them criticize anything they don’t like), then they need to start reporting facts, thereby acknowledging the presence of violence and extremism. If everyone were free from threats, the ability for compromise in the middle ground is much more plausible.
Just a thought…
