I am inclined to agree with you here!

I was just reflecting about how intense the past year has been for China though:

- Xi takes a third term after the 20th CCP Congress

-Largest anti-government protests since Tiananmen

-Pelosi visit to Taiwan, followed by the largest Chinese military display/exercises

-Japan vows to double defense spending; 71 CCP planes and 7 warships sent to Taiwanese territory

It seems damn-near a miracle nothing has happened yet...
